In the year 2000 a bible college student was driving back from work on the 5 freeway when he along with some friends were in a terrible accident that ended his life. During the funeral services his mother who also had been involved in ministry and now Pastors CMC church in Hacienda Heights received a vision of beginning a Bible School in memory of her late son Steven Vidal.
